About the Role
We are currently seeking skilled Quality Controllers to join our team at our Christchurch site. In this critical role, you will play an essential part in maintaining our high standards of quality and food safety within our Chicken Plant.
Key Responsibilities Include
In your role as a Quality Controller, you will be responsible for checking and verifying operational activities to ensure compliance with industry regulations, customer requirements, and Tegel's internal processing and quality guidelines.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring production processes and ensuring products meet specifications.
- Conducting GMP inspections and performing product and environmental testing.
- Managing documentation and addressing non-conformances as they arise.
- Supporting audits and participating in HACCP activities.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Previous experience in a Quality Controller role or a similar position.
- Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and documentation processes.
- Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- A passion for maintaining high standards and a commitment to getting things right every time.
