About the Role As the Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with our chefs to design and update menus that reflect our culinary vision, managing inventory and purchasing, and planning special events to enhance customer engagement. You will also oversee reservations, greet guests, and ensure that our dining facilities meet health regulations and maintain an appealing atmosphere. Key Responsibilities - Work closely with chefs to create and refresh menus that cater to customer preferences. - Manage the purchasing and pricing of goods while adhering to budget constraints. - Organize and plan special events to drive customer engagement and increase revenue. - Maintain accurate records of stock levels and financial transactions for operational efficiency. - Oversee reservations, welcome guests, and assist with order taking to ensure excellent service. - Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean and inviting environment. - Engage with customers to gauge their satisfaction and promptly address any concerns. - Select, train, and supervise both waiting and kitchen staff, fostering a positive work culture. Requirements - Qualifications: A relevant qualification in hospitality or business, or at least three years of experience in a similar role. - Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and public holidays. - Skills: Strong organizational, leadership, and communication abilities. - Integrity: A clean criminal history and the capacity to pass any pre-employment checks.
