About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated Centre Administrator for our BestStart Taita location. This full-time position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. As a Centre Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our centre. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, from front-desk customer service and parent support to essential administrative duties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming families, addressing inquiries, and supporting new enrolments
- Managing data entry, parent accounts, direct debits, payments, and other administrative tasks
- Ensuring compliance with Ministry of Education requirements
- Assisting with daily centre routines as needed
- Meeting regular deadlines with accuracy and efficiency
- Utilizing software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook effectively
You will receive support from our National Admin Support team and comprehensive training, which includes guidance on compliance and operational systems.
Requirements
We are looking for individuals who possess the following skills and attributes:
- A warm, professional communication style
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Adaptability to switch between tasks and support various needs
- A team player with a proactive and positive attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- A passion for supporting families and contributing to a nurturing centre culture
