About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic multi-skilled administrator to join our dynamic team at Wellington Hospital. This is a permanent, full-time position that operates on a rostered and rotating schedule, providing 24/7 service. The role typically involves working 40 hours per week, with a 12-line roster in the Emergency Department and a 4-line roster in the Birthing Suite. Key responsibilities include: - Welcoming and assisting patients - Validating patient demographics - Registering all patients upon arrival - Managing admissions, discharges, and transfers - Providing administrative support to clinical staff About the Team/Service In this role, you will be an essential team player, proficient in computer operations and capable of prioritizing tasks effectively. We value individuals who are self-starters with prior data entry experience, able to perform under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. The salary for this position ranges from $75,035 to $79,573. You will be instrumental in fostering positive customer relationships, ensuring that patients feel comfortable and cared for. A professional appearance, eagerness to learn, and reliability are key attributes we seek. This diverse team interacts with a wide range of individuals, so excellent customer service and empathy skills are crucial.
