About the Role
We are currently seeking a Support Worker for a permanent position that involves working 64 hours per fortnight. The schedule includes shifts every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the individuals we support and the wider community.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should have an understanding of the Enabling Good Lives principles and possess previous experience as a Support Worker. We value professionalism, honesty, and reliability, and we are looking for someone who can communicate effectively and connect with those we serve. A flexible approach, along with energy and enthusiasm for teamwork, is essential.
Additionally, you should be comfortable carrying out personal care tasks, including showering and dressing. A full New Zealand Driver Licence is required, as part of your responsibilities will include driving a MASH van. Candidates should either hold a New Zealand Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or demonstrate a commitment to obtaining this qualification through MASH Trust's funding.
