    About the Company We are a prominent healthcare provider serving a diverse population of approximately 643,000 individuals across five inpatient sites in West and North Auckland, extending our services to the community in Rodney. Our commitment to delivering the best care is unwavering, and we are excited to announce that we are in a significant growth phase. We are constructing a new four-story, state-of-the-art hospital at our North Shore site, set to open in 2023. This presents a unique opportunity to be part of a brand new facility designed to enhance the healthcare experience for our community. About the Role We are currently seeking exceptional Health Care Assistants to join our dedicated and enthusiastic teams at North Shore Hospital. We have both full-time and part-time positions available with fully rostered shifts. In this role, you will assist Registered Nurses in providing comprehensive care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting patients with personal care - Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the ward and ensuring equipment is safely stored - Restocking and managing supplies - Directing inquiries and preparing patient beds - Assisting with meal preparation and documenting patient intake and output Requirements We are looking for Health Care Assistants who possess the following qualities: - A strong motivation and genuine interest in helping others - A commitment to excellence and a desire to go above and beyond - Dedication, honesty, and reliability - Reasonable physical fitness, as the role requires standing and working for extended periods - A clean and professional appearance - Proximity to North Shore Hospital and the ability to work flexible, rostered shifts, including weekends - Eligibility to work in New Zealand (permanent residency or citizenship) - Previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred Benefits In return for your dedication and hard work, we offer a range of benefits, including: - In-house career development services - Access to a free 24/7 gym - Discounts at various partner companies - An onsite children's crèche at North Shore Hospital If you are interested in joining our team and making a positive impact in the lives of our patients, we encourage you to apply.
