    About the Company At IHC, we are dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, helping them lead fulfilling lives within their communities. Our organization comprises charitable programs and three wholly owned subsidiaries, all aimed at providing housing and tenancy services to those in need. About the Role We are seeking a passionate and community-minded Volunteer Coordinator to join our team in North Shore, Auckland. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $70,000, along with a work vehicle. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities. You will lead and nurture a team of dedicated volunteers, fostering meaningful one-on-one friendships and skill-based learning opportunities. Your responsibilities will include recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers, while also building strong relationships with local groups and organizations. This is a social, people-focused position where you will present to community groups, organize events, and promote inclusive spaces. You will ensure the smooth operation of the Volunteer Program, delivering a high-quality service that enhances the lives of those we serve, all while reflecting IHC's philosophy and cultural values. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should bring the following qualifications: - Experience working with or supervising volunteers, along with strong community involvement. - A solid understanding of the needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities and a commitment to their well-being. - Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills to establish community partnerships. - Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities. - Awareness of the Treaty of Waitangi and cultural diversity, as well as a full New Zealand Driver's Licence.
