    Residential Support Worker Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week) Service operates 24 hours, 7 days a week on a rotating roster covering AM, PM, and Awake Shifts Birkdale, Auckland Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (depending on qualifications and equivalence to the Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4) About the Company At Ember Korowai Takitini, we pride ourselves on blending professional expertise with lived experience to provide a variety of services and supports for individuals with mental health, addiction, or intellectual disability needs. About the Role We are currently seeking Residential Support Workers to join our team at Abeo House, an 8-bed residential rehabilitation service. Our service operates 24/7, providing support through a rotating roster of AM, PM, and Awake shifts. As a Support Worker, you will play a critical role in supporting our guests, known as whai ora, in developing daily routines and fostering recovery. Your efforts will contribute to a structured program in the mornings and engaging activities in the afternoons. Support Workers are vital to achieving successful client outcomes. You will utilize your experience, skills, and knowledge in mental health rehabilitation to help our whai ora overcome challenges and achieve their goals. We are looking for individuals who can embrace the diverse nature of the role, which includes providing both practical assistance and innovative therapeutic support. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria: - Hold or be working towards a National Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 or an equivalent qualification. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, embracing a bicultural perspective. - Maintain professionalism with strong boundaries and ethical standards. - Have experience in mental health and/or addiction support (including alcohol and other drugs). - Possess a full New Zealand Driver’s Licence. - Hold a valid/current work visa, residency, or citizenship. - Demonstrate a passion for supporting individuals on their recovery journey.
