About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Water Technician to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of essential water infrastructure installations and maintenance, contributing to the successful delivery of projects in Tauranga and beyond. You will work in a supportive environment with a team that values quality workmanship and safety.
What You Will Be Doing
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Installing and maintaining watermains and civil drainage infrastructure
- Performing pressure testing, chlorination, and mechanical fitting
- Interpreting plans and collaborating closely with engineers and site managers
- Upholding high standards of health and safety as well as workmanship
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a hands-on technician with a proven background in water infrastructure. Ideal candidates will possess:
- PE pipe welding tickets
- Connexis Water certifications
- Registered Drainlayer certification
- Plumbing tickets
- Demonstrated experience in watermain installation, pressure testing and chlorination, mechanical fittings, and infrastructure connections
- A solid understanding of civil drainlaying practices
