About the Role We are seeking a Technical Services Fitter to join our dynamic team in Auckland. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and precise installation and ongoing maintenance of plant and equipment at both Coregas and customer sites. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring operational safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Your Day In this position, you will: - Prepare, install, and maintain various plant and equipment, including gas and cryogenic piping, pumps, vessels, and cylinder systems. - Deliver high-quality customer service by providing knowledgeable and responsive support. - Perform preventative and reactive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and longevity. - Operate tools and technology safely and effectively, including welding machines, gas monitors, vacuum pumps, and mobile platforms. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations by adhering to safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety. - Maintain quality and regulatory standards by complying with the Coregas Quality Management System (QMS) and supporting internal and external audits. - Complete administrative tasks and participate in business processes, including documentation. This is a permanent full-time role, working Monday through Friday, with a guaranteed 40 hours of work each week. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess: - A trade qualification in a relevant field. - A forklift and dangerous goods endorsed driver’s license. - Preferably over two years of experience in piping and the industry, with exposure to compressed gas and cryogenic systems. - Proficiency in fitting and turning, MIG/TIG welding, and strong problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of piping systems, including basic design skills and the ability to create engineering/workshop drawings. - Strong computer literacy and the capability to complete digital documentation.
