About the Role
The Te Whatu Ora Waitemata Central Staffing Team offers a flexible working environment. As a Clerical Administrator, you will have the opportunity to work on an as-needed basis to support our services during peak demand and holiday periods at North Shore and Waitakere Hospitals, as well as at our Te Whatu Ora - Waitemata offices.
We offer a variety of shifts throughout the week, allowing you to choose when you want to work. Your duties will include a range of general clerical tasks, such as:
- Ward Clerk duties
- Front-of-house reception
- Out-patient booking and scheduling
- Administrative support
- Clinical records preparation
About You
To excel in this role, you should have prior experience in a complex clerical environment and be proficient with Microsoft applications. Experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not mandatory. We will provide training on our Waitemata IT and Information Systems.
The ideal candidate will possess a pleasant and helpful telephone demeanor, a strong command of the English language, and the ability to interact calmly and courteously with staff and patients, whether in person or over the phone. It is essential to be able to prioritize your workload effectively and think on your feet.
