About the Role We are currently seeking full-time carpenters to join our team and support various project work across the country. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced carpenters who are flexible with travel or relocation. You will work on a range of construction sites, including commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects, with locations determined by project demand. Pay and Benefits Our carpentry roles offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $26.00 to $40.00. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week in full-time, permanent positions. We provide necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools, along with potential travel or relocation support on a case-by-case basis. Key Responsibilities As a carpenter with us, your responsibilities will include: - Reading and interpreting construction drawings - Performing formwork, framing, cladding, and finishing work - Constructing, installing, and repairing various structures - Maintaining health and safety standards on-site - Rotating between project sites across New Zealand Requirements To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria: - A minimum of 3 years of carpentry experience, either in New Zealand or internationally - A trade qualification, such as the New Zealand Certificate in Carpentry Level 4, is preferred - The ability to work independently and adapt to new environments - A strong work ethic and a commitment to adhering to safety protocols Nationwide Opportunity and Travel While this role is listed in the Bay of Plenty, we are recruiting carpenters to be deployed in various regions across New Zealand. These regions include: North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland Applicants from any of these regions are welcome, and you must be willing to travel or relocate as necessary.
