About the Role We are looking for an experienced Excavation Scheduler to join our team in Christchurch. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing production operations to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in concrete or civil construction who is ready to take on a leadership position. Key Responsibilities You will be tasked with maintaining and updating production schedules with the latest information. It will be essential to keep customers, transport teams, and representatives informed of deadlines and any changes that may arise. Your role will also involve ensuring that projects are completed within the assigned timeframes, overseeing workplace policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Additionally, you will manage quality control across civil and foundation works, identify and resolve any irregularities, hazards, or issues with customers or contractors, and provide clear communication among site staff and sales teams. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience in civil or concrete construction, with a strong preference for candidates with relevant backgrounds. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A current driver's license is required, and you must be able to use the necessary personal protective equipment while adhering to our company safety policies. Finally, candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and a criminal background check.
