About the Role
We are currently seeking a Compliance Coordinator to join our team in Christchurch. Wormald, a part of Johnson Controls, has been a leader in fire protection in New Zealand for 140 years, known for delivering reliable safety products and services nationwide. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance processes are followed and that our customers receive the highest standard of service.

What You Will Do
As a Compliance Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating the compliance process to ensure adherence to Wormald procedures.
- Preparing and submitting 12A certificates and Building Warrants of Fitness (BWOF) to independent qualified persons (IQP) for approval.
- Managing customer service requests from initiation to completion.
How You Will Do It
You will act as a champion for the compliance team, ensuring that all activities align with our business objectives and established processes. Your tasks will involve:
- Instigating actions to address any compliance issues identified.
- Producing and distributing 12A and BWOF certificates, highlighting potential concerns for supervisor and management attention.
- Collaborating with business managers and supervisors to ensure testing routines and results are completed effectively.
What We Look For
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- Experience in the building services industry.
- Administrative work experience.
- Knowledge of the Building Act and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with Astea and Pronto systems is preferred.
