About the Role We are currently seeking skilled and experienced civil construction drivers and operators to take on a variety of projects. If you are a proficient earthmover looking for your next opportunity, we want to hear from you. In this role, you will operate earthmoving equipment on civil project sites, which includes tasks such as digging trenches, excavating bulk earthworks, and compacting earthworks. Heavy lifting may be required from time to time, and effective communication with your supervisor and coworkers is essential. Responsibilities - Operate earthmoving equipment on civil project sites - Dig trenches, excavate bulk earthworks, and compact earthworks - Perform heavy lifting when necessary - Inform supervisor of any machine-related issues - Communicate effectively with coworkers and the public when required Requirements - Valid full New Zealand driver's license with Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers endorsements - Class 2-5 licenses are not mandatory but highly desirable - Proven experience operating a variety of civil machinery in New Zealand - Excellent communication skills, both over the radio and in person - Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing Benefits - Competitive weekly pay, starting at $28 per hour - Opportunity to work on a range of large civil projects spanning multiple years - Personal protective equipment (PPE) provided to ensure your safety at work - Work with a company that values your time and safety If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, we encourage you to apply today or reach out to our friendly branch for more information.
