About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Automotive Glazier and Calibration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in automotive glazing while delivering exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibilities will include replacing and repairing windscreens and recalibrating Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our business partners, members, and customers, ensuring that we uphold the highest standards of service and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Replace and repair damaged windscreens in accordance with vehicle manufacturer specifications.
- Perform calibration of ADAS technology after windscreen replacements.
- Provide outstanding service to AA members, business partners, and customers.
- Maintain AA Auto Glass vehicles, tools, and equipment to high standards.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including Operations Coordinators and Contact Centre staff.
- Uphold health and safety standards by actively participating in hazard identification and corrective actions.
- Manage customer feedback professionally to ensure a positive experience.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in an automotive glazing or technical role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility with working hours and a reliable work ethic.
