About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Scaffolders to join our team for multiple roles throughout the Bay of Plenty region. As a Scaffolder, you will play a vital role in the dismantling and erection of temporary scaffolding structures, providing essential work platforms and support at various building and industrial sites.
Flexibility is important, as you may be asked to assist with projects across the country.
Duties include:
- Determining job requirements by planning and arranging scaffolding
- Selecting and preparing necessary materials for the job
- Loading and unloading scaffolding and equipment at work sites
- Erecting scaffold structures by lifting, positioning, and bolting sections together
- Establishing safety measures and platforms
- Inspecting and repairing scaffolding to ensure stability and safety
- Installing guardrails and safety netting
- Maintaining a clean workspace, equipment, and tools
- Adhering to health and safety requirements
- Performing additional duties as assigned
Pay Conditions
We offer a competitive pay range, with a minimum of $29.66 per hour and a maximum of $34.00 per hour, based on experience. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of work each week.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following:
- A minimum of 2.5 years of relevant scaffolding experience or an appropriate qualification
- A friendly demeanor with strong time management skills and an excellent work ethic
- Flexibility to work at various locations throughout New Zealand
- A commitment to ongoing learning and skill development within the industry
- A dedication to health and safety practices on-site
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
Locations may include, but are not limited to, Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland.
This is a full-time, permanent position. Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or residents, or possess a valid New Zealand work visa.
