About the Role
We are currently looking for a permanent Receptionist to join our team in the Outpatient Clinics at Meade Clinical Centre. In this vital role, you will contribute to the efficient operation of our Outpatient Clinics across various specialties.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Communicating effectively with staff, patients, and their families
- Organizing, preparing, and distributing patient records and other essential documentation
- Maintaining accurate computer records of patient attendance at clinic appointments
- Booking appointments for patients

About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Excellent communication skills paired with a positive and friendly demeanor
- A strong focus on customer service
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative role, along with proficient computer skills
- Innovation and flexibility, as well as strong time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility in working hours, with the earliest start time at 7:30 AM and the latest finish time at 5:00 PM
- Previous experience in healthcare and familiarity with iPM are advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided
- Competency in te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori, or a commitment to begin learning and taking ownership of your personal growth
- Experience in upholding Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, as well as applying Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches in healthcare settings
