About the Role
We are currently looking for a dedicated Outpatient Booking Clerk to join our team at the Meade Clinical Centre outpatient clinic. This is a permanent position offering 40 hours of work per week.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate patient information
- Scheduling outpatient clinic appointments
- Supporting services to meet Ministry of Health targets
- Liaising effectively with both staff and patients

About Hamilton
Waikato Hospital is a major regional facility located in Hamilton, New Zealand. As a leading tertiary teaching hospital, it serves as the regional hub for the Midland area, including the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Lakes, Tairawhiti, and Taranaki districts. About You
To be considered for this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, friendly attitude
- A strong customer service focus
- Proven experience in an administration role, along with strong computer skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- While prior experience in administration and hospital systems would be an advantage, it is not essential, as training will be provided
