About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic driver to join our committed team at Oceania Dairy Limited (ODL). This position will be based at our Dunsandel Yard, where you will be the first point of contact for farmers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that every collection is smooth, safe, and delivers top-quality service while adhering to compliance standards.
Your driving expertise will be vital as you navigate various terrains, including gravel tracks and rural roads. Your attention to detail in safety, vehicle maintenance, and operation will reflect the high standards our loyal customers and suppliers expect from us.
Work Pattern
This is a full-time, fixed-term role with a rotating 3/3/3 roster. You will work three days on, three nights on, and then have three days off, with an average shift lasting 10 to 12 hours. This position will cover the peak milk collection season, from mid-August to January.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
- A Class 5 Licence (or equivalent) with at least two years of driving experience.
- Confidence in navigating narrow rural roads and gravel terrain.
- Availability for both day and night shifts, demonstrating flexibility and reliability.
- An ability to adapt to new technology quickly.
- A passion for teamwork and customer service; we would love to hear about your favorite experiences in this area.
