We pride ourselves on our commitment to safety, quality, and excellence in service delivery. About the Role We are currently seeking full-time Structural Steel Fabricators to join our team. In this role, you will be deployed on significant infrastructure and commercial construction projects throughout New Zealand. Your primary responsibilities will include the placement, securing, and tying of structural steel components as outlined in engineering plans. This position offers a minimum of 30 hours guaranteed per week, with full-time, permanent employment, and all necessary PPE and tools provided. Key Responsibilities - Interpret engineering plans and drawings to accurately place and secure structural steel components - Tie reinforcement steel using appropriate techniques for various reinforcement systems - Collaborate with site teams to ensure timely and safe installation of steelwork - Comply with all health, safety, and quality standards on-site - Work efficiently within large construction teams under strict deadlines Requirements - A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with structural steel placement and reinforcement tying, either locally or overseas - Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings - Strong physical fitness and manual dexterity - Knowledge of safety procedures and quality control in steel construction - Experience in commercial, civil, or infrastructure construction projects is preferred - Relevant trade experience or qualifications are advantageous Nationwide Opportunity and Travel Although this role is listed in Northland, we have openings available across all regions of New Zealand, depending on project requirements. The regions include: North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington. South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland. We encourage applicants from any of these regions to apply, and candidates must be willing to travel or relocate within the country as needed. The company will cover relocation costs.
