About the Role
We are currently seeking full-time Scaffolders to join our expanding team. This role offers a minimum of 30 guaranteed hours per week, with pay rates ranging from $26.00 to $40.00 per hour. As a Scaffolder, you will be responsible for building and erecting scaffolding and working platforms for various construction projects, as well as for public events such as concerts and sporting activities. This is a full-time, permanent position, and your work location will vary based on project demand throughout New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include:
- Constructing and erecting scaffolding and working platforms for construction projects, as well as tiered seating for public events.
- Inspecting sites to determine the necessary scaffolding requirements, making calculations, and assembling scaffolding components.
- Ensuring the safety and integrity of scaffolding structures by conducting regular inspections and maintenance.
- Dismantling scaffolding once projects are completed.
- Performing any additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant scaffolding experience.
- A friendly demeanor, strong time management skills, and a solid work ethic.
- A commitment to learning and developing your skills within the industry.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
