About the Role We are currently seeking full-time Waterproofers to join our team and work on various residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects throughout New Zealand. This position offers a minimum of 30 hours guaranteed per week, with pay ranging from $26.00 to $40.00 per hour. The roles are permanent, with site locations determined by project demands. We welcome experienced waterproofers who are open to relocating or traveling as necessary. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be tasked with: - Applying waterproofing membranes and protective coatings to foundations, basements, balconies, and roofs. - Interpreting job specifications and adhering to safety requirements. - Operating hand and power tools specific to waterproofing tasks. - Following building code standards and health and safety guidelines. - Effectively working across different job sites and environments. Skills and Experience Required To be successful in this role, you should possess: - A minimum of 2 years’ experience in waterproofing, whether locally or overseas. - Familiarity with torch-on membranes, liquid systems, and sealants. - A trade qualification or NZQA-recognized experience is preferred. - The ability to work independently and travel between job sites. - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work. Nationwide Opportunity and Travel While this role is based in Northland, we are hiring for positions that will be deployed across all regions of New Zealand based on project requirements. These areas include: North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Manawatū-Whanganui, Wellington. South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland.
