About the Role Our Infrastructure Delivery team is currently looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee the development of a high-specification new-build airstrip terminal at Seghe Airport in the Solomon Islands. This position presents a unique opportunity to contribute to a significant aviation infrastructure project. In this role, you will report to the Project Manager and be responsible for managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety protocols, and maintaining the integrity of the project timeline. This is a full-time, fixed-term position expected to conclude in August 2026. The successful candidate will work on a FIFO (fly-in, fly-out) roster, consisting of five weeks on and five days off, with flights, single accommodation on-site, and meals provided. Requirements We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills: - Trade qualification in construction-related fields - Experience supervising high-spec projects, preferably within a contracting organization - Multi-discipline building experience with the capability to oversee construction from inception to final completion - Proven ability to effectively manage, coordinate, and direct subcontractors and suppliers - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Commitment to Health and Safety best practices and initiatives - A track record of delivering high-quality, productive, and safe work while maintaining environmental integrity - Previous experience working in remote, tropical locations and managing local subcontractors is advantageous In return, you will have the opportunity to be part of a high-performing, reputable company with a long history of successfully delivering projects to our customers.
