    About the Company At Spectrum Care, we are dedicated to providing exceptional support services for individuals with disabilities. We operate across various locations in Auckland, with a focus on fostering community engagement and personal growth. About the Role We are currently seeking Community Support Workers for our School Holiday Program, which runs during the New Zealand school holidays. This is a fixed-term contract for 1 to 2 weeks, offering a competitive hourly rate between $23.50 and $29.10. The program is designed to provide children with learning disabilities a safe and enjoyable space to engage in fun activities. As a Community Support Worker, you will collaborate with a team to maintain a secure and healthy environment for children during their holiday break. Reporting to the Programme Leader, you will facilitate meaningful activities and encourage participation in various tasks. The role involves shifts from Monday to Friday, with hours ranging from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 4:30 PM, covering two consecutive weeks. If you are passionate about empowering individuals to build self-confidence and independence while enjoying their time in the community, we would love to hear from you. Requirements We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and experience: - A strong commitment to supporting people with disabilities and enhancing their quality of life - Effective communication skills to interact supportively with colleagues and the individuals you assist - Empathy and a willingness to help with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting - Commitment to achieving a Community Support Worker Level 3 qualification - Previous experience in supporting individuals with disabilities and/or challenging behaviors - Reliability, dedication, and a genuine passion for working with people - A full New Zealand driver's license - Proficiency in using computers, including programs such as Word, Internet Explorer, and email Benefits By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
