About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly capable and experienced Administration Support Officer to join our Roading team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a significant impact in their role. We need someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of their responsibilities, and adapt to the demands of a busy work environment.
In this position, you will be expected to provide high-level administrative assistance to our Roading team while also supporting the wider Engineering team. Your proactive attitude and forward-thinking mindset will be essential for managing the various tasks that come your way.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing customer service requests for the roading team
- Collecting and recording roading-related data
- Liaising with contractors, key stakeholders, and ratepayers
- Compiling reports
- Preparing presentations
- Providing administrative support, including calendar management for the Roading and Engineering teams
We are looking for a self-starter who is driven, professional, and effective. In this fast-paced and dynamic environment, attention to detail is essential. You should be comfortable managing pressured situations and deadlines, and you will excel at handling day-to-day responsibilities while also embracing the variety of ad-hoc tasks that arise. Your customer-focused approach will ensure that our partners, stakeholders, and customers receive the highest level of service.

Requirements
This is a permanent, part-time role, working five hours per day, Monday to Friday. The specific hours of work can be negotiated and will be based out of our office in Fairlie, South Canterbury.
