About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Process Technician to join our team. In this role, you will operate the Wetmix Milk Treatment process, which includes milk reception, separators, pasteurisers, and the standardising line. You will also be responsible for setting the milk planning direction for the site.
Our shift schedule allows for flexibility and a healthy work-life balance, with 4 days off between shifts. You will work on a rotational roster consisting of 2 days, 2 nights, followed by 4 days off, with 12.5-hour shifts.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Operating critical manufacturing equipment within designated parameters
- Ensuring all products are manufactured to specifications and right the first time
- Maintaining high-quality standards in the manufacturing environment
- Collaborating with Line, Process, and Maintenance Leads while adhering to detailed standard practices and instructions
- Identifying and managing variations within operational processes based on situational work settings
- Problem-solving and identifying solutions across the plant
- Supporting maintenance activities through permit issuance
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Previous experience in a process technician role, including fault-finding experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing systems and equipment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team
