About the Role
We are currently seeking full-time Waterproofers to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on various projects across multiple regions in New Zealand. We are looking for reliable and skilled professionals who have experience with different waterproofing systems and materials. Positions are full-time and permanent, with site locations determined by project demand. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced waterproofers who are open to relocating or traveling as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply waterproofing membranes and protective coatings to foundations, basements, balconies, and roofs.
- Interpret job specifications and adhere to safety requirements.
- Operate hand and power tools specific to waterproofing tasks.
- Follow building code standards and health and safety guidelines.
- Work effectively across different job sites and environments.
Skills and Experience Required
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in waterproofing, whether local or overseas.
- Familiarity with torch-on membranes, liquid systems, and sealants.
- A trade qualification or NZQA-recognized experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and travel between job sites as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
Nationwide Opportunity and Travel
Although this role is based in Bay of Plenty, we are recruiting for positions that will be deployed across all regions of New Zealand, depending on project requirements. The regions include:
North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Manawatū-Whanganui, Wellington.
South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland.
We encourage applicants from any of these regions to apply, and candidates must be willing to travel or relocate within the country as needed. Relocation costs will be covered by our company.
Benefits
- Competitive pay ranging from $26.00 to $40.00 per hour.
- A minimum of 30 hours guaranteed per week.
