About the Role
We are currently seeking Casual Team Members to join our team at our new Distribution Centre located in Hornby, Christchurch.
Our operations revolve around two primary shift patterns. The Day Shift focuses on inbound stock management, including transferring stock from pallet to shelf, conducting date checks, ensuring stock rotation, and maintaining cleanliness. The Evening Shift involves picking and packing customer orders, along with occasionally assisting the Day Shift with managing unworked inbound stock and cleaning tasks.
About You
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualities:
- Flexibility to work during days, evenings, weekends, and seasonal holiday periods.
- Physical fitness, with the ability to consistently lift up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods.
- Self-motivation, with the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in larger groups.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with forklift and reach truck operations is a plus.
