About the Role
We are looking for a full-time team member to join our Christchurch Warehouse. In this role, you will be an integral part of our warehouse team, responsible for assisting with customer inquiries, stock movement, and storage.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing all receiving, storage, delivery, and paperwork procedures efficiently.
- Providing exceptional service to customers, including assisting those picking up goods from the warehouse and responding to phone inquiries.
- Supporting stock movements, which may involve driving the shuttle truck as needed.
- Unloading trucks and loading goods into customers' vehicles when necessary.
- Adhering to safe work practices during heavy lifting, machinery operation, and working at heights.
- Maintaining a strong focus on health and safety, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines.
- Assisting with stocktake preparation and execution, and being available for the duration of stocktake if requested.
About You
We are looking for candidates who possess the following attributes:
- Physical capability to assist with manual handling.
- Basic computer skills along with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A practical understanding of health and safety guidelines, particularly in manual handling, and the ability to follow instructions and processes.
- Previous customer service or warehouse experience is desirable.
- A current, full New Zealand Driver’s License is also desirable.
