About the Role
As a Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Switch Programme Manager in managing inventory, small assets, and fleet operations. Your responsibilities will include reporting, ordering, maintaining utilization records, and managing supplier relationships. You will ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of our warehouse while keeping accurate and up-to-date records for the team.
Key Responsibilities
You will establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with customers and suppliers, adopting a customer service approach while collaborating with team members to support procurement and operational delivery. Efficiency is key in your role, as you will work to avoid unnecessary delays that could impact our core business functions.
Continuous improvement will be a focus as you enhance warehouse operations and record-keeping to support operational delivery and minimize waste. You will maintain accurate records of stock levels, manage ordering processes to ensure optimal inventory levels as defined by Civtec and our clients, and analyze inventory usage to make informed stock order recommendations that reduce unnecessary expenditures.
In addition, you will work closely with the Fleet and Facilities Coordinator to assist with fleet management tasks, including vehicle checks, maintenance, and record keeping. You will also coordinate the maintenance and repair of small assets, ensuring that these tasks are completed within established timeframes and as needed.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse coordination, or stock management.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel. Experience with Dynamics is desirable.
- A forklift license and relevant experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service.
- Strong time management abilities, organizational skills, and the capacity to self-manage.
- A problem-solving attitude, analytical mindset, and flexibility in your approach.
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and lift and carry items as required.
