About the Role We are currently seeking two Senior Dispatch/Storepersons to join our Quality Bakers site in Christchurch. This role offers two shift options: Sunday to Thursday from 4 PM to 12:30 AM or Monday to Friday from 11 AM to 7:30 PM. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring order fulfillment accuracy, logistics dispatch, equipment care, inventory systems management, and team support leadership. Key Responsibilities Order Fulfillment Accuracy: You will pack, label, and double-check bread and chilled orders following FIFO principles. Additionally, you will replenish pick faces and assist with cycle counts. Logistics Dispatch: Safely loading and unloading line haul trucks, preparing pallets and crates, and picking urgent orders for dispatch will be essential parts of your role. Housekeeping Equipment Care: Maintaining clean work areas, stacking pallets and crates neatly, and performing daily equipment checks will be part of your daily tasks. Inventory Systems Management: You will handle inwards and outwards goods, enter finished goods data, and generate pick lists using SAP. Team Support Leadership: Participation in daily team meetings and stepping into the Team Leader role when necessary will be expected. Requirements Required Experience: We are looking for candidates with experience in warehouse operations, particularly in picking, packing, and loading/unloading line hauls. Familiarity with RF scanners is preferred, but training will be provided. Systems and Tools: A working knowledge of SAP (training available), as well as basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, is required. Certifications: A forklift license and OSH certification are necessary for this position.
