About the Role
We are seeking a Consultant General Surgeon to join our team in Taranaki. This role presents an exciting opportunity to enhance the health and wellbeing of the people in our region. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the promotion, protection, and care of our community’s health.
About the Team/Service/Location
You will join a dedicated team of eight surgeons and participate in a 1:6 on-call roster, supported by registrars and house surgeons. About You
We are looking for a qualified health professional who is eligible to practice in New Zealand and is excited about the opportunity to work in a beautiful province with a fantastic work-life balance. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive experience and training in General Surgery, holding an FRACS with vocational registration or equivalent qualifications. Our department values continuous improvement and active participation in audit processes, and you will be expected to contribute to departmental activities including advanced trainee registrar teaching, supervision of house surgeons, and medical student education.
