We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Service Deli Manager to join our team. About the Role As the Service Deli Manager, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our Deli Department. This hands-on position involves working closely with the Deli team to ensure that our customers receive high-quality products and an outstanding shopping experience. You will oversee all aspects of the deli, including team supervision, stock management, food preparation, and customer service. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment. Key Responsibilities - Manage the daily operations of the Deli Department. - Maintain high standards in food quality, presentation, and production. - Train, motivate, and support staff to promote teamwork and excellent service. - Oversee stock levels and manage inventory effectively. - Create staff rosters and schedules to meet business needs. - Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety standards at all times. - Build strong relationships with customers through exceptional service. - Utilize in-store systems for stock control and reporting. About You We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications: - Previous leadership experience in a deli or fresh foods environment. - Strong knowledge of deli products and food preparation techniques. - Highly organized, efficient, and able to thrive in a busy setting. - A positive leader who can inspire, support, and guide others. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Experience with SAP is an advantage. - Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills. - Reliable, adaptable, and able to remain calm under pressure.
