    About the Company At Spectrum Care, we are dedicated to creating a supportive and enriching environment for individuals with disabilities. Our School Holiday Program is designed to provide enjoyable activities in a safe and positive setting, ensuring that every child can participate fully and have fun during their holiday breaks. About the Role We are currently seeking a Community Support Worker to join our School Holiday Program team. This fixed-term, full-time position will commence in September 2025 and will run from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. In this role, you will collaborate with a team committed to maintaining a secure and healthy space for children with learning disabilities to enjoy their holidays. Reporting to the Programme Leader, your responsibilities will include facilitating meaningful activities and supporting children as they engage in a variety of tasks. These contracts will be for two weeks, aligning with the Term 3 school holidays from September 22 to October 4. If you are passionate about empowering individuals to develop self-confidence and independence, and you want to help them lead fulfilling lives within their communities, we would love to hear from you. Requirements We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and experience: - A strong commitment and passion for supporting people with disabilities - Effective and supportive communication skills to engage with colleagues and participants - Empathy and a willingness to assist with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and toileting - Reliability, dedication, and enthusiasm for working alongside individuals with disabilities - An energetic and vibrant personality, with a genuine enjoyment of working with children - The ability to multitask and maintain confidence in various situations - A First Aid certification is preferred Benefits At Spectrum Care, we value diversity and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
