In this role, you will assist individuals in developing their independence and acquiring essential daily living skills. Your responsibilities may include helping with public transportation, employment, financial management, and meal preparation. Depending on the specific environment, you may also provide support with shopping, cleaning, personal hygiene, and medication administration. Requirements No prior experience in the health and disability sector is necessary; however, we value a strong desire to pursue a career as a Support Worker along with a positive attitude. We provide full training and orientation for enthusiastic individuals willing to learn. We are looking for candidates who can work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleepover shifts. Proficiency in using computers and tablets is essential, as are strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates should also possess the physical fitness required to provide necessary support. A Full New Zealand driver's license or a commitment to obtaining one is required. Benefits We offer competitive hourly wages ranging from $23.84 to $29.10, based on your relevant qualifications, with opportunities to earn more as you advance your skills.
