About the Role
We are seeking empathetic and passionate Support Workers to join our Community Services team. Whether you are looking for flexibility to balance with other commitments or prefer regular rostered shifts, we offer a variety of permanent, full-time, part-time, and casual positions.
As a Support Worker, you will play an essential role in helping our clients maintain their independence within their homes and communities. You will provide both practical and emotional support, assisting clients in achieving their goals and reaching their full potential.
Your responsibilities will vary based on individual care plans and may include:
- Meal preparation
- Community outings and integration
- Medication administration
- Personal care tasks (such as showering and toileting)
- Home management
Requirements
We are looking for individuals who are dedicated to helping others and achieving excellence in their work. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A strong desire to support and uplift others
- Previous experience in healthcare or caregiving
- Excellent communication skills
- Relevant healthcare qualifications and training in manual stimulation
- A full New Zealand driver’s licence and reliable transport for most positions
