About the Role
We are seeking empathetic and dedicated Support Workers to join our Community Services team. This role offers the flexibility you may need to balance other commitments while providing essential support to our clients. We have a range of permanent, full-time, part-time, and casual positions available.
As a Support Worker, you will work as part of a larger team to assist clients in achieving their goals and reaching their potential. You will provide both practical and emotional support to help them live independently within their homes and communities.
Your responsibilities will vary based on individualized care plans and may include:
- Meal preparation
- Community outings and integration
- Medication administration
- Personal care tasks (such as showering and toileting)
- Home management
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess a genuine desire to help others and who strive for excellence in all aspects of their work. Ideal applicants will have:
- Previous healthcare or caregiving experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Relevant healthcare qualifications and training in manual handling
- A full New Zealand driver’s license and reliable transportation for most positions
