About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our supportive team at Timaru Hospital in South Canterbury. This is a permanent, full-time position (1.0 FTE) for those available to work Monday through Friday in our Rehabilitation Ward.
In this role, you will engage in various aspects of physiotherapy while working alongside a friendly and experienced team. You will have the opportunity for professional growth and development, including direct collaboration with senior medical staff and participation in service improvement initiatives such as care pathways and treatment protocols.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should be a New Zealand Registered Physiotherapist with a current Annual Practicing Certificate or nearing completion. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate:
- A commitment to research and evidence-based practice
- Strong communication skills complemented by an empathetic approach
- The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and inter-professional setting

Salary Range
This position is subject to the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement, with salary determined by the Pay Scale based on relevant experience.
