About the Role
We are currently seeking dedicated Physiotherapists to provide inpatient cover at Christchurch Hospital, a busy acute facility with a vibrant team of professionals. This role presents an excellent opportunity to gain experience across various clinical areas and may lead to more permanent positions in the future.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting thorough assessments, implementing appropriate interventions, and providing expert advice or referrals to other services.
- Supervising students and mentoring junior colleagues as you progress in your career.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care across all inpatient areas.
About You
We are looking for Physiotherapists who are eager to deliver high-quality care and can adapt quickly to our dynamic environment. You should possess a strong foundation in clinical skills and have a passion for knowledge sharing across disciplines.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A broad range of experience within a tertiary care setting.
- Competency in te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori, or a commitment to initiating your learning journey in these areas.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate as a Registered Physiotherapist.
