We are currently expanding our team and seeking full-time Waterproofers to join us in various locations nationwide.
About the Role
We are looking for reliable and skilled Waterproofers to work on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure. The roles are full-time and permanent, with site locations determined by project demand. This position is ideal for experienced waterproofers who are open to relocating or traveling as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Applying waterproofing membranes and protective coatings to foundations, basements, balconies, and roofs.
- Interpreting job specifications and adhering to safety requirements.
- Operating hand and power tools specific to waterproofing tasks.
- Following building code standards and health and safety guidelines.
- Effectively working across different job sites and environments.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should possess the following skills and experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in waterproofing, either locally or overseas.
- Familiarity with torch-on membranes, liquid systems, and sealants.
- A trade qualification or NZQA-recognised experience is preferred.
- The ability to work independently and travel between job sites.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
Nationwide Opportunity and Travel
While this role is listed in Wellington, we are recruiting for positions that will be deployed across all regions of New Zealand based on project requirements. This includes areas in the North Island such as Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Manawatū-Whanganui, and Wellington, as well as the South Island, including Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, and Southland.
We welcome applicants from any of these regions, and you must be willing to travel or relocate as needed. The company will cover relocation costs.
Benefits
In addition to a competitive hourly wage ranging from $26.00 to $40.00, we guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of work per week. You will receive full-time, permanent employment, and we provide necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools where required.
