LPG Driver/Operator (Class 2)

About the Company At Rockgas, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to our customers in Christchurch. We are currently seeking a dedicated Driver to join our team based in Woolston. This role is crucial in ensuring that our LPG deliveries are made efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our clients. About the Role As a Driver with Rockgas Christchurch, you will often work independently after completing an initial training period. Your primary responsibilities will include loading and unloading LPG cylinders, making deliveries throughout the Christchurch area, and ensuring that all operations adhere to our strict health and safety standards. This position requires physical stamina, as you will be handling heavy cylinders on a regular basis. Requirements We are looking for a team player who embodies a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: - A Class 2 vehicle license - Previous experience as a delivery driver - A high level of physical fitness to manage the demands of moving LPG cylinders - Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork - Adaptability and integrity in a variety of work conditions - Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours and in all weather conditions - A Dangerous Goods endorsement is preferred; however, we are willing to provide training for the right candidate Please note that the recruitment process will include a medical check, which encompasses a drug and alcohol test, as well as a criminal record check.
