About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused Crane Operator to join our client's team in a full-time permanent position based in Wellington. In this role, you will be responsible for operating cranes in the 10-30 tonne range while adhering to established safety protocols and lift plans. Your daily tasks will include conducting pre-start checks and equipment inspections, assisting with rigging as necessary, and collaborating with ground crews and site supervisors to ensure seamless operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term role with a respected company that prioritizes expertise, teamwork, and a strong safety culture. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience operating 10-30 tonne cranes, which is essential. You will need to hold relevant crane licenses and certifications, such as NZQA Unit Standards or equivalent. A valid Dogman/Rigger ticket is preferred. Additionally, we seek individuals who have a strong awareness of workplace health and safety, the ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment, and who demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and physical fitness.
