About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused Crane Operator to join our client's team in a full-time permanent position based in Wellington. In this role, you will be responsible for operating cranes in the 10-30 tonne range while adhering to established safety protocols and lift plans.
Your daily tasks will include conducting pre-start checks and equipment inspections, assisting with rigging as necessary, and collaborating with ground crews and site supervisors to ensure seamless operations. Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience operating 10-30 tonne cranes, which is essential. You will need to hold relevant crane licenses and certifications, such as NZQA Unit Standards or equivalent. A valid Dogman/Rigger ticket is preferred.
Additionally, we seek individuals who have a strong awareness of workplace health and safety, the ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment, and who demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and physical fitness.
