About the Role
We are currently seeking to fill a permanent part-time position within our Home Support Services team. This role entails delivering personal and domestic support services to individuals in the local community, helping them maintain independence while living in their own homes.
The position is for 0.7775 FTE and requires availability to work between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM, seven days a week, throughout the Ashburton District. Please make sure to specify the role you are applying for in your cover letter.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting clients with personal care and household management
- Tailoring care to meet the specific needs outlined in each client’s care plan
- Documenting any changes in a client’s condition or circumstances appropriately
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current, full driver’s license, which is essential for performing the duties required
- Physical fitness and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Honesty and trustworthiness to build and nurture professional relationships
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Previous experience is preferred but not necessary, as we provide full training
