About the Role
In this role, you will support the Branch Manager in managing operational requirements while setting an example in customer engagement and solution selling practices. Your responsibilities will include providing sales support to all branch customers, ensuring effective communication with internal sales teams for contract sales fulfillment, and acting as operational cover for the Branch Manager and other senior staff when they are off-site.
Additionally, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong internal relationships with procurement and demand management teams. You will handle tasks such as filling out dockets and credits, checking and pricing dockets, ensuring all dockets are approved and signed off, and completing various administrative tasks in line with our Branch Performance Standards. This includes managing invoicing, inventory receipting, and credits. You will also operate a forklift to facilitate the movement and proper storage of products on-site.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent customer service skills, as they are essential to our operations. We are looking for someone who is flexible, reliable, and customer-focused. Strong verbal and written communication skills are also required.
An advanced knowledge of Hynds products and their applications is important, as is a good understanding of the overall infrastructure landscape, particularly in relation to water management. Experience or qualifications in the infrastructure and civil industry will be advantageous. A full class 1 NZ driver license and F endorsement are also necessary for this position.
