About the Role
We are currently seeking empathetic and passionate Support Workers to join our team across different services, including Community and Rehabilitation and Social Services. Whether you prefer flexible hours to accommodate other commitments or regular rostered shifts, we offer a variety of permanent (full-time and part-time) and casual positions.
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting our clients to live as independently as possible within their homes and communities. You will help them achieve their goals and reach their potential by providing both practical and emotional support.
Your responsibilities will vary based on individual care plans, which may include:
- Meal preparation
- Community outings and integration
- Administering medication
- Personal care (such as showering and toileting)
- Home management tasks
- Availability for alternative weekends
- Potential travel to surrounding areas
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who have a genuine desire to help and support others, striving for excellence in everything they do. While previous healthcare or caregiving experience is desirable, it is not essential.
Key qualifications include:
- Excellent communication skills
- Relevant healthcare qualifications are advantageous
- Most positions require a full New Zealand driver's licence and reliable transport

Compensation ranges from $23.50 to $29.10 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications.
