About the Role We are currently seeking a Support Worker for a permanent position, working 13.5 hours per week. The work schedule will be on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid break included. In this role, you will be responsible for: - Providing medication support - Establishing meaningful connections with clients, including checking in on their daily experiences and future plans - Supporting overall well-being by monitoring both physical and mental health - Maintaining communication with the care team regarding client progress and any medication-related issues Requirements We are looking for candidates who possess a caring nature and adopt a recovery-oriented, strengths-focused approach. You should enjoy supporting individuals facing mental health and/or addiction challenges. We particularly value individuals who have lived experience with mental health and addiction, as this can greatly enhance the support you provide to others on their recovery journeys. To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements: - Hold a Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or a recognised equivalent.
