About the Role
We are currently seeking empathetic and passionate Support Workers for our various services, including Community and Rehabilitation and Social Services. Whether you are looking for flexible work arrangements to accommodate other commitments or prefer regular rostered shifts, we offer a range of permanent (full-time and part-time) and casual options.
As a Support Worker, you will be an integral part of a wider team, assisting our clients in living as independently as possible within their homes and communities. Your role will involve helping clients achieve their goals and reach their potential through both practical and emotional support.
Your responsibilities may vary based on individual care plans and could include:
- Meal preparation
- Community outings and integration
- Administering medication
- Providing personal care (such as showering and toileting)
- Home management
- Availability for alternative weekends
- Potential travel to surrounding areas
Requirements
To thrive in this role, we are looking for individuals who demonstrate a strong desire to help and support others, striving for excellence in all that they do. While previous healthcare or caregiving experience is desirable, it is not essential.
Key qualifications and skills include:
- Excellent communication skills
- Healthcare qualifications are advantageous
- A full New Zealand driver's license and reliable transport

Compensation for this role ranges from $23.50 to $29.10 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
