About the Role
We are currently seeking a part-time administrative support professional for the Single Point of Entry (SPOE) team at the Hillmorton Health Campus in Christchurch. This role involves being the first point of contact for individuals seeking mental health services, streamlining referrals to our Adult Community Mental Health Services. You will be part of a close-knit, multidisciplinary team that includes registered nurses, social workers, and occupational therapists.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will:
- Provide non-front-of-house administrative support to clinical staff
- Answer and triage phone calls from the public, general practitioners, NGOs, and other professionals
- Process referrals to specialist mental health services
- Perform accurate data entry and type correspondence
- Collaborate effectively within a small, supportive team
This role has been mapped to National Band 4/Profile 4A as part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Claim settlement. For more information about this settlement, please refer to the PSA National Health Administration Collective Agreement on our website.
