About the Role We are currently seeking a highly organized Production Supervisor to join our Seed Room team at our plant nursery facility located in Belfast, Christchurch. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to expand their expertise while contributing to our ongoing success. As the Production Supervisor, you will take ownership of scheduling and coordinating the workflow of production operations. You will work closely with the Seeding Department Manager and team members to ensure that materials, labor, and tasks align with our production targets and quality expectations. Key responsibilities include: - Supervising a small team of production workers and machine operators - Developing, amending, and maintaining daily production schedules - Monitoring workflows on production lines - Problem-solving to minimize stoppages and maximize output - Managing inventory control - Ensuring product quality standards are met - Motivating and coaching your team to achieve company goals This is a hands-on role where you will actively participate in production operations, working alongside team members using our state-of-the-art machinery, as well as managing production schedules on the computer. Basic Excel skills are required for this position.
